If you were interested in the new generation of the Ford Fusion but you were concerned in the model’s safety, head over to your local Ford dealership and order one because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recently named it a Top Safety Pick. The award has been given to the model after it managed to score an overall five-star safety rating in the NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) testing.
“The Fusion and Fusion Hybrid exemplify the new face of Ford vehicles and demonstrate Ford’s commitment to safety in all its vehicles across the globe”, said the global director of the Ford Automotive Safety Office (ASO), Steve Kenner.
The new generation of the Ford Fusion is coming with safety features like the new seatbelts, the eight airbags, the redesigned seat-mounted side airbags which can deploy lower in the pelvis area, the new venting technology and much more, which will help you in case of an impact. The 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid was also named a Top Safety Pick by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
