The annual event is a celebration of all things Texan, and certainly SUVs and pickup trucks are part of the heritage – Nissan is taking advantage of that by introducing the new Armada Platinum Reserve, along with the Midnight Editions of the Titan, Titan XD, and Frontier.
The hulking Nissan Armada SUV has been updated quite recently, but now it’s time for the Japanese automaker to present the flagship Platinum Reserve trim at the State Fair of Texas. The range-topping version has standard perks such as Nissan’s new Intelligent Rear View Mirror, two-tone leather seats with a mix of dark brown and quilted charcoal. Orange stitching will break the pattern for a touch of color, while there’s also Black Quartz trim along with a Platinum Reserve emblem on the console.
The exterior is also host to a raft of visual flourishes – starting with Dark Chrome pieces for the grille, door handles, and mirror caps. The 20-inch wheel set gets a matching finish and Nissan already announced pricing and availability for the Armada Platinum Reserve. Go for the rear-wheel-drive version and get it for $62,985 after $1,295 for destination, the all-wheel drive model kicks off at $65,885 after destination. The State Fair of Texas was also used as the first public display for the already introduced Midnight Edition versions of the Titan, Titan XD, and Frontier pickups.
