The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently announced its plans to introduce a new sports car to the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, which will officially open its gates in November.
Besides the current 370Z and the GT-R, Nissan will also develop another sports car, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, in November. The announcement has been made by the company’s vice president, Andy Palmer, during the New York Auto Show, who has replied “Yeah, for that one I’ll see you at Tokyo” when asked directly about a new sports car by Car Advice.
Even if the brand new Nissan Sports car can be just about everything, from a new generation of the GT-R, to an updated 370Z, even if the facelift came just a few months ago, but chances are that the model will be a direct rival for the Toyota GT 86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S. If this is true, than Nissan will probably borrow some components from other models in the range, probably from Renault too, in order to produce it, and the final production version might wear the Nismo badges all over its body. Additional details on the new Nissan sports car are limited for the moment and will be announced in Tokyo.
