The aftermarket specialists at Switzer Performance have recently revealed their latest creation, a new upgrade program for the powerful Nissan GT-R, which is modifying the performance figures of the model.
The Nissan GT-R is one of the hottest rides of the moment and the model will enter history thanks to its supercar performance on a price which is anything but “supercar”, but the Japanese sports car is now getting even hotter, thanks to the guys at Switzer Performance and their latest upgrade program. According to the tuning company, the Nissan GT-R in question is now developing an impressive 600 horsepower, compared to the standard output of 545 HP.
Switzer Performance is saying that the extra 55 HP are being provided by the modified ECU, the free-flowing SS90 exhaust system and the high-flow filters which, besides offering a better engine sound, they also modify the performance figures of the Japanese sports car. The 2012 Nissan GT-R P600 PKG by Switzer Performance, as it was named, can now accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.6 seconds. The power boost isn’t the only modification “suffered” by the GT-R and the vehicle is now riding on a fresh set of Switzer Signature series lightweight forged aluminum wheels, which have been wrapped in Michelin Pilot Supersport tires. The price of these modifications has been set at 12,990 USD.
