Nissan GT-R Convertible rendered

The first rendering images with the convertible version of the Nissan GT-R have recently hit the web and they are providing us with a look on what this model might look like if it makes it into production.

The Nissan GT-R is probably one of the greatest cars to make its way onto the market these past few years thanks to its supercar performance and “not so supercar” starting price. But while the Japanese based automaker is limiting itself into a single body style, artists have started drawing the model without its roof and we must say that this looks very good.

The images posted below have been provided by Mars-gtr and they are renderings of the car. Nissan isn’t planning to develop a convertible version of the GT-R for this generation, but who knows, maybe the future Nissan GT-R will receive such a variant. As a quick reminder, the Nissan GT-R has been in production ever since 2007 and the sports car has been upgraded every year, becoming more powerful each time. The GT-R is powered by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V6 engine, producing a total output of 545 HP for the current model. The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic dual clutch transmission.
