Nissan GT-R gets completely destroyed in Puerto Rico image

A white finished example of the Nissan GT-R has been recently involved in a crash in Puerto Rico which left it completely destroyed.

Even if we prefer to use the Car Crashes section for rear mid-engined and rear- / all-wheel drive layout supercars, we cannot ignore the Nissan GT-R because this has set new boundaries for the automotive industry. The images posted below are showing us a crashed version of the “Godzilla” which has been rolled over several times and will probably end up in the crusher.

According to the guys from Wrecked Exotics, the unfortunate incident took place in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and it seems that the driver of the Japanese sports car has lost control of the wheel in the city, after speeding, flipping over his ride several times. Our source is stating that no one was injured in the accident but this is more than we can say about the GT-R, or the driver’s ego.

The Nissan GT-R has been around since 2007 and it has been updated in every year of its production. The sports car is offered with a 2-door coupe body style and with a front engine and all-wheel drive layout. This is currently being put together in Tochigi, Japan, and it has a 3.8 liter twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The GT-R is considered to be the successor of the Skyline GT-R but after being in production for quite a few years, a replacement is expected in the near future.
