Nissan GT-R Nismo officially unveiled image

The new Nissan GT-R Nismo has been officially unveiled and the company will introduce it on its local auto market in February, next year, while in Europe it will arrive later.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo is one of the most awaited versions of the popular sports car. The model in question has received numerous motorsport inspired technologies, which will optimize its aerodynamics, its powertrain, its suspension system and they will all contribute into creating a well-balanced vehicle which can provide enough driving pleasure both on the road and on the track.

If we should take into consideration what Carlos Ghosn, the Nissan CEO, has to say about the GT-R Nismo, than we would find out that this is actually the fastest version of the Nissan GT-R ever produced.

“With a 7:08.679 lap time, we can authoritatively say that the Nissan GT-R Nismo*2 holds the volume production car lap record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, which is the gold standard of high performance achievement”, said Ghosn.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo has received Bilstein DampTronic dampers, three suspension modes, Comfort, Normal and R, for track applications, exclusive Nismo tires, specially developed by Dunlop, with 255/40 ZRF20 in the front and 285/35 ZRF20 in the rear, a 17.3 mm hollow rear anti-roll bar, which is raising roll stiffness and reducing weight and much more.

The aerodynamic body of the Nissan GT-R Nismo is generating an additional 100kg*1 at 300 km/h compared to the updated 2014 Nissan GT-R, thanks to its carbon rear spoiler, to the engine undercover strake or the front bumper. Five colors are available for the model in question, the Brilliant White Pearl, the Ultimate Metallic Silver, the Vibrant Red, the Dark Matte Grey and the Meteor Flake Pearl Black.

As far as the engine goes, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo is taking its power from a 3.8 liter V6 VR38DETT engine, which is producing a total output of 600 PS (441 kW) and it has a peak torque of 652 Nm (481 lb-ft). No performance details on the sports car have been announced yet.
