Nissan has recently announced the production start of the Juke Nismo in the United Kingdom, at the company’s Sunderland facility.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the Nissan Juke Nismo will now be produced in the company’s plant in Sunderland, United Kingdom. The model will be a high performance version of the model and it will be powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, producing a total output of 197 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque, available between 2,400 and 4,800 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Nissan says that the Juke Nismo can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 134 mph (216 km/h). The model is returning 40.9 mpg (UK) and it’s emitting 159 g/km of CO2. The all-wheel drive version of the Juke Nismo will only become available in a high end variant, with the CVT. The Juke Nismo is available in three colors, the Storm White, the Blade Silver and the Pearl Black and the model will become available to its future customers from 19,995 GBP.
