Nissan will be officially offering a production version of the recently unveiled Juke-R 2.0.
Do you remember the Nissan Juke-R 2.0? Well, it was unveiled more than a month ago and brought to the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed. But what if we tell you that the carmaker will be offering a production version of it? Well, before rushing over to your local Nissan dealership and place a deposit, you should know that not a lot of people will be able to afford it because, its previous version, the Juke-R, had a skyscraping price. According to the guys from OmniAuto, the model will be produced in a limited number of just 17 units.
As you probably already know by now, the Nissan Juke-R 2.0 has received a different body, with a carbon fiber front bumper, a new rear bumper, carbon fiber side sills, carbon diffuser and several other goodies, including the redesigned wheel arches. The most significant upgrade is found under its hood, where the company has made use of the 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine. This is the same unit as the one found on the Nissan GT-R NISMO and it is capable of putting down a total of 600 HP (441 kW) and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. The “crossover supercar”, as it has been called, needs 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph). The starting price of the model is believed to stand at just over the 150,000 euro mark.
