Nissan’s newest concept car is called the Kicks and it has been officially presented to the public, recently, in a world premiere, during the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, in Brazil.
After being introduced in the South American country just a day ago, Nissan has decided to release more official images and videos with the brand new Kicks Concept. The one -off vehicle is a compact crossover which will serve as a preview for a future production model, aimed towards emerging markets, Brazil included.
“It’s fun to drive, but at the same time, a serious vehicle. It is designed to have the appearance of a striking premium car that captivates the look and to be a vehicle whose owners would be proud to own and drive”, said the company’s global design department vice president, Shiro Nakamura.
The Nissan Kicks Concept stands at 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, riding on a 2,620 mm long wheelbase. This is basically making it 175 mm longer than the popular Juke and its wheelbase is 90 mm longer too, while the height and the width are approximately identical. The one-off vehicle has been designed under the close watch of the company’s Global Design Center in Japan. More details on it remain unknown of the moment.
