Nissan Lannia production shown in Shanghai image

The production version of the Nissan Lannia has made its public debut recently during the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show.

After a few teasers have been released over these past few weeks, Nissan has finally introduced the production version of the Lannia, which is said to remain a Chinese-only version. The Nissan Lannia is continuing the design of the concept car wearing the same name and it is getting a floating roofline, LED headlights with a boomerang shape, the V-motion grille, a subtle diffuser, wraparound taillights and several other tweaks which will differentiate it from the one-off version.

The cabin of the brand new Nissan Lannia has been updated too and here we can find the leather finish for the seats and center armrest, the shiny chrome finish for the air vent surrounds, the gear knob and the door handles, the red graphics on the center console and the dashboard, the 7-inch touch screen display which is part of the infotainment system, the illuminated cup holders, the flat bottomed steering wheel with leather wrap and red stitching and much more. If you were hoping to find out more about the engine range, you will be disappointed because the carmaker has chosen to keep these details in the shadows for the moment. More info on what is powering the 2016 Nissan Lannia are expected to be released soon but keep in mind that the model is scheduled to be offered for sale this fall. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
