The Nissan March Rio 2016 Edition has been officially unveiled during the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show.

Nissan has decided to officially pull the wraps off the March Rio 2016 Edition at the Brazilian automotive event which is currently taking place as we speak. The model in question is coming with a white and gold exterior paint scheme, with gold finished side skirts, roof spoiler, side mirror caps, alloy wheels and lower parts of the front and rear bumpers, along with several other tweaks which are helping it differentiate.

The model in question is basically highlighting the fact that Nissan will be an automotive sponsor of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and it is packing a 1.6 liter FlexFuel 16 valve engine under its hood, which can run either on gasoline or ethanol. The Nissan March Rio 2016 Edition is coming with 111 HP (83 kW) which is enough to allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 191 km/h (119 mph). Nissan hasn’t announced any plans to put the model in question into production at the moment.
