Nissan announced that orders for the all-new NV350 Caravan, launched on June 15th, have exceeded 6,000 units by July 18th.
The exact number of orders is 6,106 units, three times more than the company has targeted for the all-new offering. With the all-new NV350 Caravan, Nissan shows its growing commitment to light-commercial vehicles. The model resembles the concept presented in November at the Tokyo Motor Show, and it will go head-to-head with Toyota’s Hiace in Japan.
Customers highly acclaim the NV350 Caravan for its best-in-class fuel economy, interior space, bold presence, power, versatile cargo space and the advanced equipment.
“The first thing is design. Secondly, there’s good fuel consumption. Third, is its usability and the space inside. Fourth, is the advanced technology, like a passenger car,” said Nissan Corporate Vice President Hideto Murakami. “These are remarkable features for this car.”
Here is a breakdown of the initial orders: Van 96% (Premium GX 40%, DX 56%), Wagon 4% (GX 1%, DX 3%), Engine Gasoline QR20DE 50% and QR25DE 5%, Diesel YD25DDTi 45%, Exterior Color White 23%, Brilliant Silver 22%, Brilliant White Pearl 16%, Blade Silver 14%, Tiger Eye Brown 12%, Super Black 10% and Aurora Mauve 3%.
