The alleged Nissan paladin is the rumored SUV derivative of the Nissan Navara, and there’s a good chance these renders are highly accurate since they’re not based on speculation, but actual leaked images of the upcoming all-new model.
The reports about the arrival of a Nissan Navara-based SUV have been making the turns on the rumor mill for quite a while, and most recent the company even explicitly implied we’re going to finally get the off-road machine sometime in 2018. The world wide web has also managed to unearth fully revealing spy shots, meaning the Photoshop virtual designer wizards had enough material to come up with something that should be accurate as a preview for the upcoming model.
The SUV is the new king of the automotive industry, so no winder Nissan is looking to expand its offering in every possible segment, with the new model rumored to be nicknamed “Paladin” – the build will be coming from China at an assembly facility from the Henan Province via the Zhengzhou Nissan joint venture. It seems the versions that will be sold outside the world’s most populous country and biggest auto market will carry a different moniker – “Xterra”. By the way, there are even technical details to discuss – the Paladin / Xterra might reach 4,885 millimeters (192.3 inches) in length, 1,865 mm (73.4 in) in width and arrive with a wheelbase stretching at 2,850 mm (112.2 in), with space for five or seven seats.
