The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently announced that the Pathfinder concept will be officially presented at the 2012 NAIAS.
According to the car manufacturer, the Nissan Pathfinder concept will actually preview an upcoming generation of the model will is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2012. Even if the carmaker didn’t release any images or details about the concept, the crossover is expected to be closely related to the Infiniti JX, which actually means that we can expect a unibody construction with three rows of seats and the “classic” 3.5 liter V6 unit to develop around 265 horsepower.
“The worldwide debut of two concept vehicles will highlight Nissan’s presence at the upcoming 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. An all-electric van concept, which underscores Nissan’s leadership in zero emissions vehicles and the Nissan Pathfinder preview concept, which provides a sneak peek at the next generation of Nissan’s longest running nameplate in the U.S., will be unveiled during the NAIAS press preview days, beginning Monday, January 9”, as the automaker says in the official press release.
Besides the Nissan Pathfinder concept, which will be officially presented at the 2012 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show), the Japanese based automaker is also planning to introduce an electric van concept, which will also preview a future production model, at the same North American Event.
