Nissan has decided to bring its Pathfinder Concept into the spotlights by releasing a teaser image of it ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.
After the Japanese based automaker has officially announced a few days ago that the Pathfinder Concept will debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show, Nissan has now decided to release a teaser image where the vehicle is being presented in a “blury” way. As you can see from the official teaser image launched by Nissan, the Pathfinder Concept doesn’t seem to come with anything dramatic compared to the current production version but, then again, we’d better wait for the North American automotive event rather than talk nonsense.
“With thoughtful technology, comfortable seating for seven and ample cargo room, the 4-wheel drive Pathfinder Concept previews the next-gen production Pathfinder that is scheduled to go on sale next fall”, as the automaker says in its official press release.
Even if Nissan didn’t release any images or details about the Pathfinder Concept, the crossover is expected to be closely related to the Infiniti JX, which actually means that we can expect a unibody construction with three rows of seats and the “classic” 3.5 liter V6 engine which will be developing around 265 horsepower. Besides the Nissan Pathfinder Concept, which will be presented at 2012 NAIAS, the Japanese carmaker will also introduce an electric van concept, which will also preview a future production model, at the same automotive event.
