Nissan is planning to develop a high performance version of the Juke Nismo which won’t rival with the top of the line version of the model.
After being officially presented to the public back in December 2011, during the Tokyo Auto Salon, and then going on sale in various markets across the globe, the Nissan Juke Nismo is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with a rumor which is saying that the company will develop a high performance variant of the model. The more powerful Nissan Juke Nismo is also expected to get a sport tunes suspension with new shock absorbers and springs along with unique damping raters.
The most important part of the model will be found under its hood where a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine will rest. The unit will produce a total output of approximately 230 HP (169 kW) and 298 Nm of torque (220 lb-ft). The power will be sent to the front-wheel drive through a six-speed manual transmission or to the all-wheel drive system via a CVT, depending on the version chosen. The more powerful Nissan Juke Nismo should go on sale before the end of 2013.
