The Japanese based automaker Nissan is currently promoting its upcoming Terrano model, which will be based on the current Dacia Duster.
After it has released the first sketch with the Nissan Terrano just a couple of days ago, the Japanese based automaker is placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new image, which represents the start of an online campaign which will promote the SUV. The image posted above is partially pixilated but it’s clearly showing the same car as the one in the original sketch, released just earlier this week.
The final production version of the brand new Nissan Terrano will basically be a rebadged version of the Dacia / Renault Duster. The model in question will probably receive some modified panels, in order to differentiate it from the standard SUV. The Terrano is also expected to get a different front fascia than the one used on the Duster, a different rear end and some tweaks in the cabin. As for the engine lineup, the model is rumored to get the same 1.5 liter engine mated to a brand new 6-speed manual transmission. The Nissan CVT technology and AWD are a possibility for the new Terrano too.
