The Japanese automaker has officially released pricing info for the US market of the 2015 model year Rogue, with the crossover starting at a MSRP of $22,790.
The Rogue – which is known in Europe by its traditional X-Trail name – changed for the 2014 model year to a brand new generation. Thus, the 2015 model year only features minor adjustments and some new features: the Xtronic transmission gains a new Eco mode; the SV Premium Package receives heated cloth seats and there’s also a new body hue – the Arctic Blue Metallic color.
The 2015 Nissan Rogue is built in Busan, Korea and Smyrna, Tennessee and can already be ordered from dealers across the US in S, SV and SL trims. Pricing starts at $22,790 (plus an 860 USD destination & handling charge) for the S with front wheel drive, with the cheapest AWD starting at $24,140. The highest priced Rogue is the SL AWD, which goes for $29,630.
The Rogue is offered with just one engine: an in-line four 2.5-liter that produces 170-horsepower and delivers an EPA fuel economy of 33 mpg (highway, FWD version) or 28 mpg in the combined cycle. The seven-seater is only mated to the Xtronic transmission that now features Sport and Eco Mode switches.
