Nissan Serena S-Hybrid was launched in Malaysia image

The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently introduced the Serena S-Hybrid in Malaysia, where the model has been priced from RM149,500 on the road.

According to the car manufacturer, Malaysia is the first ASEAN country to receive the new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, and the model is expected to see strong sales thanks to its attractive price of RM149,500, on the road, and to the long list of standard features. And speaking of features, we must tell you that for a limited period, buyers will be able to get the 6.5-inch multimedia navigator with rearview camera, the AUX, USB, Bluetooth and DVD player for free, which are normally worth RM3,300.

The Nissan Serena S-Hybrid can seat eight people and it has power sliding doors on both sides. Power to the model is provided by a 1,997cc DOHC four-cylinder petrol direct injected engine, which is producing a total output of 147 PS at 5,600 rpm and it has a peak torque of 210 Nm available at 4,400 rpm. The unit is mated to an Xtronic CVT. Safety features include the ABS, EBD, Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) and two airbags. The model comes with a 3-year / 100,000 km warranty.
