Nissan has released the first teaser image with a future C-segment hatchback which will be known as the Pulsar on the European market.
Nissan is getting ready to tackle some popular vehicles, such as the Volkswagen Golf, the Renault Megane or the Ford Focus with its brand new C-segment hatchback. The model in question has been teased recently and it will go on sale this fall, most likely under the Pulsar name. The vehicle will hit the market in a five-door hatchback body style and, in its European version, it has been developed at the Nissan Technical Center in Bedfordshire, UK, but it will be assembled in Barcelona, Spain.
In terms of engines, the new Nissan Pulsar will compete with the Volkswagen Golf 7, and this will offer versions “from BlueMotion to GTI”, as the company is explaining. There is another bright side as the vehicle will come with a lower price tag than its German rival and it will also get features like the self-parking system, the full-length panoramic sunroof, the satellite navigation system and more. The design of the car will be influenced by the Invitation Concept and its front fascia will be similar to the one of the new Qashqai or X-Trail. The 2015 Nissan Pulsar will be unveiled on May 20.
