The Nissan TeRRA Concept will be officially presented to the public on the 27th of September during the 2012 Paris Motor Show and rumors are saying that this is previewing the future Qashqai.
The Japanese based automaker has recently announced that a new concept, named the TeRRA, will be officially presented to the public later on this month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and because its size is similar to the Qashqai, rumors are saying that this will be a preview for the next generation of the crossover.
“Not big and tough for the desert, the aim was a new approach to SUVs that’s relevant to urban life. The unique diagonal seating layout … offers an exciting driving experience thanks to exceptional visibility that creates a sense of being in control under any conditions”, said the Nissan general manager of product strategy and planning, Francois Bancon. “Our challenge was to take Nissan’s strength in SUVs and crossovers forward into the zero-emissions era fuel cells being our new frontier in zero-emission mobility.”
The Nissan TeRRA Concept is getting two electric engines, one on each axle, which are producing zero emissions thanks to the use of hydrogen, which, according to the car manufacturer, will become a readily available fuel source within the following years. Unfortunately we don’t have any extra details on the Nissan TeRRA Concept but we will keep you updated on the subject.
