Nissan Versa 2012, US prices announced image

The 2012 Versa model from Nissan is now available for customers from prices starting with 15.140 US dollars, which also include a 760 $ destination charge.

Having as a main competitor the Ford Fiesta on the over-seas auto market, the base Versa hatchback S is powered by a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine which develops 122 horsepower, connected to a six-speed or four-speed, both automatic transmissions, while the SL version gets a CVT transmission.

The addition of new standard content, like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, the Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels or stability control make the Versa the right choice over the Fiesta, if customers consider the extra-free content.

The top of the line 2012 Nissan Versa 1.8 SL gets a price increase of 980 US dollars compared to the 2011 model, while the Ford Fiesta SE hatch starts at 16.295 dollars, including a 795 $ destination charge.
