Our spy photographers have managed to catch the new Nissan C-segment hatchback on camera once again, while it was being tested in cold weather environment.
Rumors on Nissan developing a new C-segment hatchback have been around for quite some time now and it seems that the model in question is not so far from its future customers, who might take delivery of the new vehicle later on this year. The so-called Nissan Almera, which will probably receive a totally different name, is believed to be inspired by the Invitation Concept and by the new Qashqai generation, coming with some interesting items on it.
Some of the goodies which will be found on the new Nissan C-segment hatchback include the self parking system, the full-length panoramic sunroofs or the low-cost satellite navigation system. Engine lineup will be consisting in various units ranging between 1.2 and 1.5 liters, which are part of the Renault-Nissan alliance. A potential electric vehicle, along with a hybrid version, is expected to make its way onto the market too. The model in question will be rivaling with big names in the segment such as the Volkswagen Golf, the Ford Focus or the Opel Astra, amongst others. The C-segment hatchback signed by Nissan is believed to be unveiled by the end of 2014.
