Noble introduces M600 Speedster, costing a cool £220,000 image

The British automaker’s new cars are getting cheaper for us Europeans following the Brexit, but the Noble M600 Speedster still commands quite a premium when it will be out on sale starting from £220,000.

Noble has just taken the wraps off its new Speedster, complete with biturbo 4.4-liter V8 engine
Sporting a good 650 hp. The model was first showcased during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it was actually previewed by the Speedster prototype which was introduced at Autosport International early 2015. The production model features the same overall design as the concept, with the designers and engineers modifying the rear part of the production Speedster to obtain a better design overall as well as improved cooling for the car’s mid-mounted powerplant.

Design wise, the Speedster comes with a removable targa roof that can be operated in about half a minute. On the other hand, the roof can’t be stored in the car because there isn’t enough room so the owner who gets caught in the rain will have to make do with a canvas roof instead. More importantly, motivation is provided via a biturbo 4.4-liter V8 engine sporting 650 horsepower, linked to a sequential automatic gearbox which should “make you feel like you are really driving it.” The exact technical specifications haven’t been revealed yet but the powertrain is said to be enough for a maximum speed of more than 200 mph (320 km/h).
