Noble is planning to expand its vehicle lineup with the addition of the M600 Drophead, which could reach a limited series production in the nearby future.
Noble fans, this is your moment to be joyful, as your favorite car company is planning to expand its vehicle lineup, with the addition of the M600 Drophead. The new model hasn’t been officially announced, in the usual press release, but it has been hinted by the company’s managing director, Peter Boutwood, in an interview with the guys from the Telegraaf. According to our source, the prototype of the model is currently being built, but a final decision hasn’t been made official, just yet.
Peter Boutwood says that people from different countries have expressed their interest for a drop-top version of the M600 and this will still remain a real driver’s car, just like the solid roof variant. Power to the model in question will most likely be provided by the same 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which will be carried over from the M600. The unit is producing a total output of 650 HP (485 kW) and 818 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is made in 3 seconds in the coupe and top speed stands at 225 mph (362 km/h).
