Novitec Lamborghini Huracan Spyder goes for supercharging image

Do not mistake this Verde Mantis aftermarket Lamborghini for Vilner’s recent creation – no sir, this is Novitec doing its best to make it even more striking and faster than the Performante.

The tuner has taken the Huracan Spyder version, which is not yet available in the top spec from the automaker directly – and refashioned it into an even more aggressive bull with a wide body kit and a manufacturing roster of just 11 examples. You’re not going to go unnoticed, with the supercar getting an aggressive front bumper with a central front blade that can be optioned in carbon fiber – and no paint at all. The muscled front fenders are n inch (three centimeters) wider and also pack three-slot vents to improve cooling for the brakes. Even more vents are on the side, complete with built-in air scoops for the rear brakes inside the rocker panels.

Naturally the cream of the crop is the rear fender assembly, which is 2.3 inches (six centimeters) wider per each side, while at the back Novitec has fitted a wing a new bumper with a naked carbon diffuser. Carbon fiber can also adorn the side mirror caps, the taillight surrounds and the rear aerofoil – and of course there’s also a set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels to grace the 35-mm drop in height with good looks. This is a case of even more go than show – the 5.2-liter V10 engine has now been supercharged in order to develop no less than 860 hp (633 kW) and around 709 lb-ft (960 Nm).
