The aftermarket specialist has decided to reveal their latest supercharger package specifically developed for the latest Lamborghini – the Huracan.
The “entry-level” model in the Lamborghini roster has also been subjected to other extensive modifications – though we do see the latest trend involves supercharging the Huracan (Novitec has for instance treated the baby-Lambo to one and produced 848 horsepower). On its own O.CT TUNING has taken the Huracan inside the 800-hp social club. The aftermarket specialist has managed to resolve the issue for a total of 805 hp (600 kW) and a hulking maximum torque of 598 pound-feet (810 Newton meters) after tweaking the 5.2-liter V10 engine. The motor has also been treated to a bespoke exhaust system that is 44 pounds (20 kilograms) lighter and also has a louder voice to signal the increased power and performances. Visual tweaks are rounded off with a new set of rims measuring 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches at the back.
After slapping in the supercharger and resolving all the other modifications, the O.CT TUNING Huracan will jump to 62 miles (100 kilometers) per hour in just 2.5 seconds – a good performance increase from the standard 3.2 seconds. The 0-120 mph (0-200 kph) sprint is handled in 8.3 seconds – and the top speed has been apparently untested yet as the tuner only says it’s above the 200 mph (325 km/h) mark. By the way, O.CT TUNING also hints the same supercharger kit can also be matched to the new Audi R8 – which we all know is a brethren to the Huracan as the two share many components.
