The French based automaker Renault has recently announced its plans to introduce the Clio Mercosur to the upcoming Sao Paulo International Motor Show in Brazil.
As you have probably figured it out yet from the photo gallery posted below, the so-called Renault Clio Mercosur is the old generation of the French hatchback which has been fitted with a new face inspired by the 2013 Clio generation, but besides exterior modifications, the model doesn’t seem to have any other significant changes. The 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show will mark the world premiere of this Clio Mercosur.
The Renault Clio Mercosur takes its name from the South America’s leading bloc which is made from several countries on the continent and the regular version of this model has been sold in Europe from 1995 to late 2005 when it was replaced by the Clio MK3. Renault didn’t provide any extra details on the Clio Mercosur but you can judge it yourselves from the photo gallery posted below. Until the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show will open its gates on the 24th of October, details on this “new” Clio will be kept a secret.
