Aston Martin has recently announced that only one unit of the One-77 model is currently available for purchase, after all the others have been sold out.
Making its official debut on the European market back in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin has decided that it’s time to bring the exclusive One-77 sports car to the United States too, and the model was officially presented to the public in late 2011, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. But since the American automotive event, a lot of things have changed, and from the 77 units available of the Aston Martin One-77, only one is still available for purchase, even if the price tag on the sports car has been set at 2 million USD.
As a reminder, the Aston Martin One-77 takes about 2,700 man hours to assemble and it was being made by a team of 27 technicians. The model which debuted at the 2011 L.A. Auto Show was the pre-production version which has done 14,000 miles of testing. The Aston Martin One-77 is powered by a 7.3 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 750 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 553 lb-ft, mated to a six-speed transmission which allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 mph.
