Ford has announced the development of a single 2015 Mustang 50 Years Convertible which will be auctioned soon and proceeds will go to charity.
This will be the only Ford Mustang Convertible to get a special performance pack, which will include the Brembo six-piston front brake calipers which will be painted, the limited slip differential or the 19-inch Pirelli P-Zero summer tires. The muscle car will also get some unique styling upgrades, such as the Wimbledon White exterior paint, the chrome accents, the chrome accented grille, the tri-bar taillight lenses, the rear decklid badge reading “GT 50 Years” and some 19-inch Y-spoke wheels.
The interior design of the one-off Ford Mustang will get the black leather seats with two-tone cashmere, the contrast stitching on the instrument panel, the loop carpet floor mats and the owner’s guide in a leather portfolio. It will also feature a badge on the instrument panel. Power will be provided by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which is good for more than 420 HP and 528 Nm of torque. Proceeds from this one-off Mustang Convertible will go to multiple sclerosis research. More details on it will be announced in the months to come.
