Opel is currently working on a new version of the Adam, the 1.4 Turbo SIDI equipped one, which has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested in Northern Sweden.
The German based automaker Opel will create a direct rival for the popular Abarth 500 by using its new city car, the Adam, which will receive an interesting engine under its hood, along with other updated items, on its exterior design and in the cabin. From the images posted below, we can mention the lowered suspension system, the rear disc brakes, the added air intakes near the number plate, the 5-nut wheel instead of the regular 4-nut and some other tweaks.
The most important part of this model will be found under its hood, where the company’s 1.4 liter turbo engine will be resting. The unit has been tuned to approximately 160 HP, from the standard 140 HP. Rumors are saying that the Opel Adam 1.4 Turbo SIDI will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and this is when we may find out more about this model. Meanwhile, you can check out the small photo gallery posted below.
