Opel has pulled the wraps off the Adam & Vale for Charity, a special one-off customized edition of the regular Adam, designed by Valentino Rossi.
The multiple MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi has collaborated with Opel on customizing this one-off Adam city car. The model in question has received some interesting updates, which will definitely help it stand out from a crowd. The Opel Adam by Valentino Rossi will be on display at the EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition, between the 7th and the 10th of November, in Milan, Italy.
“To tell the truth, the design phase took a very long time. It took us hours of hard work, but then you know Valentino, he is hard to please. And so am I. Scores of drawings were produced, phone calls were made and every time we decided to change everything and started all over again. In other words, it was exhausting but it was worth the effort”, said Aldo Drudi, a designer who has collaborated with Rossi on his bikes.
The Opel Adam in question has been modified from the roof to the wheels and it has received a psychedelic theme on its exterior design, which is also continued in the cabin. We can see the Dainese leather on the seats and on the doors, along with some other updates. Sadly, this one-off Opel Adam hasn’t received any performance upgrades so it’s still a stock car in this chapter. The Opel Adam & Vale for Charity will be auction during a fund raising event in December and it will support an initiative sponsored by the German carmaker, the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation.
