Opel has officially pulled the wraps off the new Adam Rocks S during the 2015 Amsterdam Motor Show.

After it has been unveiled over the web just over a week ago, the brand new Opel Adam Rocks S has recently made its public debut, during the 2015 Amsterdam Motor Show. The model in question is basically a sportier version of the Adam Rocks or the more rugged version of the Adam S, whatever you may want to call it, adding a 15 mm lowered suspension compared to the Rocks, an ESP which can be turned off, an upgraded braking system, a choice of 11 body paints, 5 hues available for the electrically operated canvas roof and several other goodies which will help it stand out.

Under the hood, the brand new Opel Adam Rocks S is packing a 1.4 liter four-cylinder ECOTEC turbocharged gasoline engine, which is also found on the Adam S, being capable of producing a total output of 150 HP (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. The model in question needs 8.5 seconds in order to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it has a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph). The carmaker says that it can go from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 120 km/h (75 mph) in 7.9 seconds. The unit is connected to a 6-speed short ratio manual transmission and the average fuel consumption stands at 5.9L / 100 km (47.8 mpg UK / 39.8 mpg US). No pricing details have been announced at this time.
