Opel has issued the official starting price of the Adam S on its local market, where the model in question is now available from 18,690 EUR, VAT included.
The Opel Adam S is being highlighted once again, after being officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, back in September, this time with the car manufacturer announcing its local launch. The model in question is now available for order from 18,690 euros, VAT included, and it is coming with a sport tuned suspension system, with a retuned steering system, beefier brakes, red brake calipers and optional 18-inch Typhoon alloy wheels.
For an extra 1,300 euros, Opel is also adding the Recaro front sport seats and the sport pedals. Power to the pocket rocket is being provided by a 1.4 liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline burner, which is capable of producing 150 HP (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 7.9 seconds and top speed of the model stands at 210 km/h (130 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 6.4 liters / 100 km (44.1 mpg UK / 36.7 mpg US).
