The brand new Opel Adam S has been officially unveiled as the model in question will be making its public debut next month, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Opel is going to be tackling the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show with its Adam S. The model in question has been equipped by the company’s OPC performance division and it is getting a new braking system, 17-inch standard or 18-inch optional wheels, wrapped in 225/35 tires, a full aerodynamic body kit, ten new color schemes, a lowered suspension system and several other tweaks to help it stand out from a crowd.
The Opel Adam S is taking its power from a 1.4 liter petrol turbo engine which is producing no less than 150 HP (110 kW) and a peak torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft), being connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. Thanks to this, the pocket rocket can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). The Opel Adam S will become available for order starting this November but its price list remains unknown for the moment. More details on it will be announced during the French automotive event.
