The German based automaker Opel has released a new teaser image with the upcoming Adam model, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September.
The Opel Adam has started its public life earlier this year under the Junior name and after being spied a few times on the way, the car manufacturer has brought it into our news once more, with the help of a new teaser image. The design of the Opel Adam is still hidden and it will probably remain so until the model will be officially presented to the public in September, during the Paris Motor Show.
The all-new Opel Adam is said to be 3.70 meters long which means that it’s longer than a Fiat 500 and its size is closer to a MINI Cooper than a Volkswagen Up!, which, theoretically, should be its direct competitor, along with its sisters from Seat and Skoda, the Mii and the Citigo. Just like the competition, the Opel Adam will be able to seat four adult occupants who will travel quite comfortably. The Opel Adam will hit the market with a whole new engine lineup, ranging from 1.0 to 1.4 liters, meeting the Euro 6 emission standards and being 10 percent more fuel efficient thanks to new technologies like the direct injection.
