It may be just an attempt to see how the final version of the model will look like, but it cannot be ignored.
The new generation of the Opel Astra is entering our news once again, this time with the help of two renderings, which are showing us how the GTC 3-door version may look like. The two photos posted below are nothing more than simple renderings, which have been signed by Theophilus Chin, but they are providing us with a first look into the upcoming model and we have to admit that the final product will not look half-bad if it will be anything similar to this.
Meanwhile, we will remind you that the new generation of the Opel Astra has been unveiled officially a couple of months ago and the model is already available for order in several parts of Europe. In Germany, the car has a starting price of 17,960 euros and for the money, customers will be getting a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood, producing 105 HP (77 kW) and connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. This will be eating 4.3 liters of fuel in this configuration or 4.2l / 100km with the automatic transmission. The 1.6 CDTI starts from 20,260 euros and this has 95 HP (70 kW) or 136 HP (100 kW). Opel is also offering another two version of the 1.0 liter turbo 3-cylinder unit, 125 HP (92 kW) and 150 HP (110 kW).
