Opel has recently announced the launch of the Corsa OPC in Australia, where the small hot hatch is now available to its future customers from 28, 990 AUD.
The Opel Corsa OPC can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its different front and rear bumpers, to its new side skirts, to its distinctive front grille, roof spoiler, dark finish for the rear diffuser, front fog light surrounds, central exhaust top and optional 18-inch alloy wheels, which will set you back for 1,000 AUD if you’re living in Australia. A flat bottom steering wheel can be found inside, along with aluminum pedals, OPC door sill plates and floor mats, Recaro seats and much more.
Opel says that the Australian Corsa OPC is available in five colors, the Carbon Flash Black, the Flaming Yellow, the Magma Red, the Casablanca White and the Arden Blue. The most interesting part of the Opel Corsa OPC can be found under its hood, where the 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine is resting. The unit is producing a total output of 141 kW at 5,850 rpm and it has a peak torque of 230 Nm, available between 1,980 and 5,800 rpm. This is enough to allow the hot hatch to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 225 km/h. The model will go on sale across Australia from April.
