The first images with the upcoming Opel Corsa OPC have recently hit the web ahead of the hot hatch’s reveal which is believed to happen in the near future.
The German based automaker Opel will be adding yet another OPC version into its lineup, this time in the shape of the Corsa OPC, which is believed to be one attractive and appealing one. The model in question has recently leaked out all over the web and it should be officially unveiled over the next few weeks, ahead of its public debut which should take place next month, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The 2016 Opel Corsa OPC will be easily standing out from a crowd, thanks to its updated body kit which is making it look more aggressive. The B-segment hot hatch is following the previous OPC vehicles and it is bringing the sizeable air scoop at the front, the rear wing, the rear diffuser, the two exhaust tips, the larger wheels, the Recaro seats in the cabin and several other tweaks which should be enough to put some space between it and the standard variants.
The vehicle will be rivaling models such as the Renault Clio RS, the Ford Fiesta ST or the Peugeot 208 GT and it is believed to pack a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which might be good for 210 HP (154 kW), connected to a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the front-wheel drive. The model should come with an optional limited slip differential. More details on the subject are limited at this time.
