The German based automaker Opel is currently testing out a new top of the line version of the current Corsa, which will be receiving the OPC treatment.
The brand new Opel Corsa OPC is just around the corner as the model in question has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers, while it was being tested out. The test mule was wearing camouflage on its front fascia, on its rear end and on its lower sides which suggests that this is trying to cover up new aerodynamic body panels which will have two jobs, that of making the small hatchback faster as they have been most likely developed in a wind tunnel and that of helping it stand out from a crowd.
Modifications made to the new Opel Corsa OPC will include a sportier front fascia, a large rear wing, larger exhaust pipes and bigger wheels. The most significant upgrade will be found under its hood, of course, where rumors are saying that it will be gaining a 1.6 liter petrol turbo engine, which is capable of producing just over 200 HP. The new Opel Corsa OPC is believed to be officially introduced this December, during the 2014 Essen Motor Show.
