The German based automaker Opel is planning to present its Corsa based SUV, the Mokka, at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012, and the model has been confirmed for production.
After autobild.de has announced not too long ago that the Opel Corsa based SUV is in the works, the same automotive journalists are now telling us that the Mokka model will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Our source is also telling us that the car manufacturer has confirmed the Opel Mokka for production, and after the vehicle will make its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, it’s expected to be launched on the market in November 2012.
The Opel Corsa SUV, or the Mokka as it will be known, has been designed to maximize economies of scale, expanding the offering in the B-segment without constructing a new platform. The upcoming model will battle the Nissan Juke and the many rivals that are going to take the field in the market. The Opel Mokka Corsa based SUV will have 4.30 meters in length and it will come with the front-wheel drive system as standard, and with the all-wheel drive at an extra cost. The model will be rounded than the Skoda Yeti SU and it’s aimed at the cheap VW offshoot. Prices for the entry-level version are expected to start at 18.000 EUR.
