The German based automaker Opel has recently announced the arrival of the Insignia OPC to Australia, where the model will go on sale from 59,900 AUD.
After we have seen its smaller brothers, the Astra OPC and the Corsa OPC, going on sale in Australia recently, time has come for the carmaker’s most interesting creation, the Insignia OPC, to make its way into the Pacific country too. The Opel Insignia OPC is coming with new front and rear bumpers, with an integrated rear spoiler, with satin chrome highlights, with dual exhaust pipes, with a flat bottom OPC steering wheel, with Recaro sport seats and much more.
The Opel Insignia OPC is powered by a 2.8 liter V6 turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 238 kW and it has a peak torque of 435 Nm, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. This is enough to allow the 1,809 kg car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. The Insignia OPC is coming in four colors, the Summit White, the Carbon Flash Black, the Arden Blue and the Asteroid Grey. The model will go on sale this month across Australia and it will arrive in showrooms in April.
