The German based automaker Opel is planning to launch its Insignia Sports Tourer model in the first half of 2012.
Even if there is no official word yet from the car manufacturer regarding the Insignia Sports Tourer, the fact that Opel is planning to launch its model in the nearby future is no longer a surprise for anyone, and we’ve already talked about this just a week ago, but until now, we didn’t have an exact date for when the rival of the Audi A4 Allroad and the VW Passat Alltrack will hit the market. According to autobild.de, Opel will launch the Insignia Sports Tourer in the first half of 2012 and the model is expected to be priced at 35.155 EUR.
Sadly this is all we know for now about the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer, but the German manufacturer might surprise everyone and launch the new model this spring at an international auto show. As a reminder, the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer is expected to be powered by a 2.0 liter CDTI engine, which will come with two outputs, 165 HP and 195 HP, with the last one having about 400 Nm of torque, which will send power to an all-wheel drive system.
