The German based automaker Opel has recently released the very first teaser images with the Monza Concept, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
Opel has been planning to revive the Calibra or the Monza nameplates for quite some time and now the company seems to be closer than ever to the process with its latest creation, the so-called Monza Concept. Opel says that the new model is showcasing the brand’s upcoming design philosophy.
“With the Monza Concept, we make our automotive future tangible today. I can’t yet go into detail about how the Monza Concept’s interior design – and especially its trend-setting technologies – will change the driving experience. However, I can guarantee that viewed from any angle, its innovative body design and perfect proportions will turn heads. But they are just a visible expression of the great substance you will find under the bodywork. Everyone should visit us at the Opel/Vauxhall stand at the IAA to get a look at our exciting future!”, said Kark Thomas Neumann, the Opel / Vauxhall CEO.
The first teaser images with the new Opel Monza Concept are showing the model’s sculpted hood, the new front grille, the low stance, the big alloy wheels and that “sports car” look. The Opel Monza Concept will probably hit the production line over the next couple of years, but the company didn’t release any info on the subject. More details on the Opel Monza Concept will be announced in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
