Opel teasing Electric Vehicle Concept ahead of Frankfurt image

With less than two weeks before the Frankfurt Motor Show will officially open its gates, major car manufacturers are battling on an invisible territory by teasing and unveiling new models and concepts with technology that will soon be implemented to all vehicles on the production lines.

With its competition being far up in the EV segment, Opel decided that it’s time to develop a new “eco-friendly” vehicle, which will make its official debut at the German event, along with its “greenest” model yet, the Ampera.

Even if the automaker didn’t offer any details about its new EV concept, Opel said that this is an experiment focused on offering zero-emissions urban mobility, announcing also that this vehicle will be transformed into a series model sometimes next year.

Being part of General Motors, Opel’s new EV could have a strong word in the company but we better leave these comments away until the concept will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
