The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently announced that the Optima Hybrid has arrived on the Old Continent, where the model can be bought from 28,995 euros.
According to the car manufacturer, for 28,995 euros paid for the Kia Optima Hybrid you will get a conservative styling, dynamic capabilities and a high quality interior design, but these qualities can be found in the non hybrid versions of the car too. The Kia Optima Hybrid is powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine, which is developing a total output of 150 horsepower, with a peak torque of 180 Nm, helped by an electric motor, generating 40 horsepower.
The carmaker says that the total output developed by the hybrid powerplant is 190 HP and 245 Nm of torque, which means that the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.2 seconds. The Kia Optima Hybrid is burning an average of 6.72 liters of fuel every 100 km in city and 5.9 liters of fuel every 100 km on the highway. Kia says that higher specs of the Optima Hybrid can get leather upholstery, 12-speaker sound system, ventilated driver’s seat, sat-nav, rear camera and more.
