The Italian based automaker Ferrari has recently announced that the company has started taking orders for the upcoming 458 Monte Carlo.
Selling supercars before they are even seen and produced is a chapter where Ferrari has an important word and with the brand new and impressive LaFerrari, which has been sold in a few hundred units out of the 499 available, the company is now getting ready to apply the same recipe with the Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo. Even if the new high performance version of the supercar has been announced, Ferrari isn’t giving us any glimpse on the model and we don’t even know what it will cost.
The Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo is based a high performance version of the 458 Italia, the successor of the 430 Scuderia and the 360 Challenge Stradale. Ferrari will organize an exclusive preview of the 458 Monte Carlo for a select clientele later on this year and, hopefully, some data and images will leak then. The Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo will be officially presented to the public, for the first time, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, but by then, most units would have already been pre-sold.
