The Land Rover Range Rover is already a posh SUV, but clients wanting more can reach out to aftermarket specialist Overfinch – which has recently presented the Manhattan and London special editions.
If you believe the Bentley Bentayga to be over the top, go for British Range Rover tuner Overfinch which has announced a pair of bespoke units that will shame the former. Overfinch went out of its way “to create a Range Rover of unparalleled design and craftsmanship” in the Manhattan (in black) and London (in blue) editions. It appears the tuner needed hundreds of hours to complete the SUVs, including 250 on the interior marquetry alone. And the latter is an Art Deco show of the skylines of Manhattan and London. No less than 5500 pieces of abalone shell, stainless steel, and five types of veneer were hand cut and laid into the American burr Walnut background, then sand-shaded for the feeling of depth and shadow.
Both interiors have been completely reworked in quilted Bridge of Weir leather – Ivory with Ebony detailing in the Manhattan, and Cirrus with Navy detailing in the London. The craftsmanship is completed with machined sills plates and Overfinch Limited Edition rotary dial inserts. The exterior get full Overfinch bodykits and were both completed on the basis of the long-wheelbase Autobiography model, which comes with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 motor packing 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts). Pricing is stupendous as well: Overfinch’s London showroom has the London edition for £249,990 ($318,369).
