The supercar “of the day” when talking about performance and with an exterior design who makes any kid to stick posters of it on its room door, the unpronounceable “Huayra” from the Italian auto maker Pagani has been officially introduced in the United States.
“The US arrival of its high-styled Huayra allows stateside enthusiasts the opportunity to obtain a Pagani automobile in the US for the first time and bolsters Pagani as a major player in the largest automotive market”, as it is written in a company statement.
The standard version of the new supercar from Pagani is powered by a 6.0 liter Mercedes AMG M158 twin-turbo engine, which is developing 700 horsepower. The car’s performance is staggering and the Huayra hits 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 230 mph.
Pagani Huayra has a carbon-titanium monocoque frame and its body parts are made from carbon fiber, making the car weight as much as a hatchback: 1350 kg.
The first Pagani Huayra will arrive in the United States early next year and it will be priced at 1.4 million dollars.
